Costa Mesa Ceramics Studio is located in west side Costa Mesa and was established in 2016! We thrive to create a sense of community within the walls of our studio. We are here to educate, share and express the creative process of ceramics. Memberships and classes are available to those who wish to immerse themselves in our growing community of incredible potters.

Cancellation Policy:

(This all applies even in a COVID related situation so please only purchase a class with us if you are aware that we are unable to make any exceptions to this policy beyond the parameters listed below. This includes the 7 day notification policy in order to be able to reschedule)

All sales are final; we do not grant refunds. Classes or workshops can only be exchanged for credit towards another class or workshop given it is done at least one week (7 days) prior to the start date of said class or workshop. Cancelations made within 7 days of the start date are not granted credit or the ability to be rescheduled. There are no exceptions. This also applies to canceled private classes. Credit must be put towards a class or workshop within 6 months after purchase. After 6 months all credit, including unscheduled private lessons and open studio passes, is forfeited. Please email us with any questions.

How and when to pick up your finished pieces:

For those who attend our lessons and wine nights, the standard turn around time from the day you create your pieces is about 4 weeks. We do not contact everyone individually to come and pick up their pots once they are completed. Please feel free to swing by during our pick up hours to pick up your completed pots. If you wish to contact us prior to coming in to the studio to see if your pieces are ready for pick up, please contact us via the form above. As we are a small studio with minimal storage we hold on to pieces for 3 months from the date of creation. After that 3 month mark we donate the forgotten/left pieces to clear our shelves for more work.

What to wear:

We highly recommend wearing clothing you won't mind getting a little dirty and closed toed shoes. Jewelry such as rings, bracelets and watches are best left at home as they will get covered in clay. Hair tied up and long nails trimmed are definitely advised for a safe and productive learning experience. You are more than welcome to bring an apron, many people do but it's not required. Please feel free to contact us with any questions!
