What is the best way to get in contact with the studio?

How long after your one-off wheel-throwing class until you can pick up your pieces?

  • Projects are ready for pick-up 4 weeks from the date of your class. We do not call you to come and pick up your pieces. All pieces are donated after 3 months. 

When can you come by the studio to pick up your pieces?

  • We have dedicated pick-up hours Tuesday’s-Sunday’s from 12pm-5:30pm.

How can I attend open studio sessions?

  • We are a membership based studio. You will need to sign up for a monthly or shelf membership in order to work in the studio during open studio hours.

How can I sign up to be a member?

  • In order to sign up for a monthly or shelf membership you must come by the studio in person during our Studio Hours (Tuesday’s-Sunday’s from 12pm-5:30pm).

Can anyone become a member?

  • We ask that you take at least one 6-week course here at our studio prior to becoming a member with us. Or have recent (within the past two years) experience working in an open studio setting.

Do I have to become a member to take a class or workshop?

  • Nope! You do not have to be a member to attend any of our classes or workshops unless otherwise stated in the description.

Can I sign up for a class even though i’ve never done ceramics before?

  • Yes! That’s what we’re here for! All of our classes are geared towards beginners unless otherwise stated in the class description.

How do I sign up for a class?

  • All of our classes require registration via the register online tab of our website. 

How do I cancel a class?

How big are our classes?

  • Our wheel-throwing classes max out at 10 participants. Hand-building and workshop class sizes vary depending on the type of class but are typically 8-10 participants. 

How often do you post new classes?

  • We typically post new one-off wheel-throwing classes around the second and fourth week of every month. 6-week courses are posted two weeks in advance. 

How much does a class cost?

  • Our one-off wheel-throwing classes are $60per person, 6-week courses are $315 per person, workshops and mini-courses vary in price depending on the type of class.

How can you book a private class?

  • Email us! But first, check out this page with more information. 

Can I make pieces at home and have the studio fire them for me?

  • Yes! We have a batch firing service where you can drop off small batches of work to be bisque and glaze fired (cone 5). Please see this page for information on batch firings. 

  • Do you need to make an appointment to drop off pieces for a batch firing?

  • No appointment is necessary; just come by anytime Tuesday-Sunday 12pm-5:30pm to drop them off.

Do you do full kiln rentals?

  • Yes! Click Here for more information.

Does the studio sell clay?

  • Yes! We sell clay to anyone who is a member, studio mate or intends to batch fire with us. Limit two 25lb bags per customer, per week.

Does the studio take on commission orders?

  • Yes! However we are currently not taking on commission orders for one-off objects.

Does the studio offer repair services for broken pieces?

  • No.

What is the cancelation policy?

  • Cancellation Policy: (This all applies even in a COVID related situation so please only purchase a class with us if you are aware that we are unable to make any exceptions to this policy beyond the parameters listed below. This includes the 7 day notification policy in order to be able to reschedule) All sales are final; we do not grant refunds. Classes or workshops can only be exchanged for credit towards another class or workshop given it is done at least one week (7 days) prior to the start date of said class or workshop. Cancelations made within 7 days of the start date are not granted a credit. No exceptions. This also applies to canceled private classes. Credit must be put towards a class or workshop within 6 months after purchase. After 6 months all credit is forfeited.
